The Merman tales is a neoteric fable that started in 2015.
It is with an humble pleasure that S. Lemercier inspires new notions to pull us deeper into the womb of the restless Sea where a Merman takes you on an ethereal journey towards pop-meditative « Sea-phony’s ».

The tales recalls timeless soundscapes of the mythical sea shanty’s reflecting both, rage & vulnerability at once.

Steev Lemercier’s « Merman Tales » has been spotted performing in the frame of Cyprus, Venice, Istanbul & Berlin Biennales in 2015 and for the Kermesse Héroique in Brussels January 2016.

In early 2017, A "fable" book by the curator & writer; Alberto Garcia del Castillo will see the light. The fable follows the Merman, his pets and a human sailing along the canals of Belgium... a U.S & European tour will be announced later this year.
